Pros

It's nice to work remotely.

Cons

Management neglects fostering a healthy work-life balance and prioritizes promoting personal connections over skill and aptitude. Opportunities for deserving individuals are often overlooked to retain them. Raises are nonexistent. Promotions are influenced by personal biases rather than performance. Workplace culture is marred by gossip and more interested in short-term technical solutions instead of addressing underlying issues.
