No real accountability - have seen directors and VP fail to deliver on initiatives and/or not complete a task without repercussions. Some managers/directors do not follow, reinforce or believe in the initiatives/values/vision of the senior leadership. No real strategic direction - except the current stock price is of utmost concern. New product development process is undeveloped if not mostly non-existent so there is plenty of waste and missed deadlines. Departments work in silos and frequently do not work well together on integrated projects - little if any loyalty on internal teams (the One for One and None for All mindset). Negative reinforcement and threats is how some upper level and VPs "motivate" their employees (one said in front of a customer, Make this sale or I'm firing you.) Swearing and yelling at employees is a common occurrence in other departments. Company is behind industry standards in operational excellence and processes.
