The paychecks were very consistent.

Favoritism and nepotism run rampant in this plant. The idea that you're a nobody if you're not part of the "cool kids club" is heinous and has no business being in a warehouse type setting, or any work environment for that matter. Save that for the schoolyard. If you're good at your job, they'll overlook you for bids and give those bids to people who are lazy, unorganized, lack any kind of work ethic, and in general, do a horrible job. Your time and mental health deserve better.
