Pros

-flexibility depending on your manager/program -hybrid schedule -receive stipend if you don't take their insurance -easy to build up your PTO

Cons

-lack of communication -so many changes without clear direction -everything is at the last minute and due yesterday -pto (vacation) was decreased by 30 hours for all non-union staff with same day notice -new ceo brought in all her besties from city government and pushed out all the established leadership -clear disconnect from the main office to the programs spread out across PA, NJ and DE

Pros

JEVS will allow you to feel like you are helping others, the more involved you get in the agency the better that feeling is.

Cons

Some programs run much better than others. Some program managers are in that role due to the Peter Principle and do not belong in management.
