Only the people, because we all share one thing in common - depression.

Cons

JG Wentworth have absolutely zero respect for their staff members. You are extremely looked down on if you're a casual and are shown no appreciation for the work you do. Employees are forced to work overtime and long hours without proper recognition and payment. This place is not for hard working people.

Most people here are stretched to their limits. The workload keeps on increasing, and there is hardly time to relax at the office. I felt immense pressure and couldn't think of surviving here for long.

We take these reviews seriously and work hard to proactively be on the lookout for areas in the business that require attention. In your review you say that you took a sales job just for a paycheck? Our new sales hires go through an extensive training program, and new Reps in the program won't have a sales target for at least six weeks after they start with us. Since March of last year, new sales reps have averaged 100% of their targets for their first three months after training. Sales jobs typically come with monthly targets, which adds a competitive component to the job. Taking a sales job "just for the paycheck" might not been the best type of job to accept; had we known that was the case we would have advised you to look at a different role. In the end it appears no one won here and that was not the intent when we made you an offer that you decided to accept. Hopefully you were able to find a job that is better suited for what you want to accomplish. Best of luck to you, thank you for taking the time to give others insight on your experience..

The people I met here kept me going but that's about it.

Cons

They were vague and not transparent at all. Lied commission potential during hiring interview. Management is all about themselves. The strategy is to over hire, cut out the people who don't perform well and replace them with another batch of people. Seems like the management's egos have gotten in the way of running this company effectively anymore.
