Pros

Fast-paced, energetic, ok culture, nice people to work with. 2 years ago this place was fun to work at, but the future looks bleak.

Cons

Even if you aren't a manager, you are expected to come in early and leave late. If you don't, you are looked at in a negative light. Even if you work your tail off all day, if you leave at 6pm (when you are supposed to leave, because they switched it to hourly) you'll get stared at.

Toxic Environment

Pros

Most of the co-workers make working at JG Wentworth tolerable. The people are their biggest asset, but unfortunately management does not recognize this fact.

Cons

It is a toxic and favoritism filled environment. Employees are not appreciated or recognized for their hard work and dedication. Management does not possess any leadership qualities and an atmosphere of disrespect and exclusion is fostered and allowed to continue. JG Wentworth drains the life out of you. Don't expect even a simple thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty. The CEO ignores and won't address he plunging stock and dismal company performance.

Just a stepping stone

Pros

You will gain some decent experience for your resume that will help you get a better job. The people that work on the sales floor are pleasant to be around and the work environment is good.

Cons

Little job security. Company just reduced pay for half of the sales floor. Since ceo Stewart Stockdale took over in 2014, company stock has gone from $14 to $1.40. Also, when several key employees were caught red handed for fraud, (signing people's contracts for them without their knowledge) they were only suspended 2 weeks instead of fired.
