Relaxed work atmosphere. You'll walk away with great friends. Insurance coverage and benefit plans, and great commission if you're average to above average in sales skills.

Cons

The new CEO doesn'trun the company properly. Ever since he bought the company in 2014, there have been multiple lay offs, although he promised "everyone's going to want to work here" when he first introduced himself. Rather than taking business advise on restructuring the company from managers who've been at the company for 5+ years, heroes his own this, resulting in great workers losing their jobs.

Co-workers are great, compensation is acceptable and benefits are good.

Cons

Underwriting leadership is utterly incompetent and not fit to manage people. She has taken an Underwriting department where there were some issues and driven it into the ground. She does not care about her employees, alienates them on a daily basis and shamelessly plays favorites. Employee development does not exist. The entire department is looking for a way out.
