Three things that distinguish JK from our competitors are our Core Values, our Profit Sharing Plan, and the JK Community Farm. Our 7 core values create a positive work culture, where everyone is treated with care and respect and works towards a common goal. Our Profit Sharing Plan distributes a portion of each year's profits to employees, providing them a stake in the company's success. Our culture of care and respect is part of everything we do, including supporting the JK Community Farm: the nation’s largest chemical-free nonprofit farm. 100% of the produce grown is donated solely to the food insecure through our food pantry partners. The farm is open to the public as a hub for volunteering and food education, a place for people to connect with their food and where it comes from.

Employees are encouraged to participate in the employee-led Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Council. The DEI&B council is responsible for evaluating, proposing, and measuring the success of DEI&B initiatives across the organization.
