Pros

Everyone’s got an opinion, and a lot of them come from half the story. So here’s mine after a full year working at JM Eagle. The HQ is right next to LAX, and you can actually watch planes take off and land from the building — pretty cool if you’re into that kind of thing. Parking is plentiful, and the garage is secure, which is a bigger deal than it sounds if you’ve worked places where it’s not. I came onboard during a big growth push for the sales team. They were putting the right systems in place to get new hires up to speed, and it took me about 3–4 months to really hit my stride. I’m still picking up new things here and there, but the learning curve has been worth it. I’ve been in sales for four years, and JM Eagle actually found me through LinkedIn. The onboarding process was about 3–4 months (my choice, so I could give my previous company plenty of notice). Once I got here, I was blown away by the atmosphere. The sales team works together — nobody’s competing for scraps — and as a junior account manager there’s more than enough work to go around. Travel is part of the job, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite parts. It breaks up the desk work, I get to pick which customers I visit, and the travel budget is generous. Bottom line — my experience here has been great. The people are solid, the work is rewarding, and the company is moving in the right direction. They’ll have to fire me before I quit.

Cons

Lunch is provided almost everyday, im beginning to gain weight!
