Pros

Pay is higher than other places. Cooks and Baylor both offered $4-5 less/hr Nurses safety matters. If a patient even hints that they are going to get violent police are there in a flash. Rarely do I get floated on have extra patients.

Cons

Benefits are absolute trash. Just don’t even bother getting them. Cheaper to pay in cash. CEO wants to pretend this is THR and hire consultants to tell nurses what they are worth. CNO made a nurse cry over a fall. Both have a “I’m better than everyone” attitude

Pros

JPS Health Network has a strong commitment to the community, offering health services to people regardless of their ability to pay.

Cons

As a large public organization, JPS may have a lot of red tape and complex internal processes. This can sometimes make decision-making slow or frustrating for staff, especially in comparison to smaller, private healthcare systems.
