Terrible pay considering the required experience and education for the job. Had some coworkers use very problematic language and bias show at the workplace that went unchecked. Was told that HR will always favor managers and nurses and it showed. They don't care for those that are passionate and want to help the world around them, they're there for a check and have lost their humanity. Very few that I interacted with that had tenure and felt the same as I did. Despite how discouraging it is, they still always did the best they could, but they also taught me to not work more than I'm being paid for. Easier said than done. Management/coworkers hate it when you work ahead because it makes others look bad - even though it means you're helping more people. Productivity is measured by how busy you look, and meeting the bare minimum requirements. Oh, and I was told day one there was no room for advancement.
