Loss of quality and mission

Pros

Great colleagues and meaningful work. Highly skilled clinicians.

Cons

Agency is moving toward quantity rather than quality of services. Clinical supervision has shifted and really is now just a review of whether one meets the utilization requirements rather than addressing clinical issues. The company culture has changed significantly.

Excellent in-house training Strong intra-departmental support Paperless charts - database documentation Strong new leadership Regular, good clinical supervision Flexibility to move from full-time to part-time or contract as other obligations change

Cons

Poor salaries and raises - less than inflation Pressure to meet productivity/billable hours requirements, at expense of your 2% raise (for meeting goals) and possible job loss Little opportunity for in-house advancement Expensive employee contribution towards health insurance, especially for families
