Pros

This company is one of the best companies I’ve worked for. I’ve never felt more supported and a part of the team the way I do at JSSA.

Cons

The pay is ridiculously low. I think this is the only reason staff don’t stay for long and it’s hard to find people willing to work there.

Terrible management and lack of agency communication

Pros

The only pro of the organization is the work done to help individuals in the community. The employees are passionate about their work.

Cons

This was the worst work experience of my entire career. Very few actually know what they’re doing and their lack of understanding of current best practices definitely shows. There is also terrible communication across the agency and it’s super unorganized. Would not recommend this work environment.

No retirement contributions! Some underperforming managers are allowed to flounder for years Serves relatively affluent areas and misses more underserved communities (like in DC)
