Pros

Flexible schedules, telecommuting options, good benefits

Cons

No growth opportunities, poor business structure, horrible management, raises are next to nothing & promotion isn't really heard of.

Pros

A friendly, positive and easy environment, with a great deal of flexibility. Some very smart people work here. Relaitvely stable too, as they surivived this economic downturn without laying off employees.

Cons

Money. Lags behind Industry standards, though their revenue - at under a billion dollars - is modest, limiting their ability to pay out more money. Recently, as a cost-cutting measure, health insurance options have deteriorated.

Pros

Decent pay, intelligent and flexible management depending on your department, good senior management even if they do occasionally make mistakes, at least a reasonable opportunity for advancement.

Cons

Seems like something is taken away all the time. First it was free full premium health care plan turned into premium and value where value is free. Then slight health care benefit adjustments for a couple years, and now, no more free premium or value coming in January, just a 'consumer plan'. Stock options were given out previously but that is no more. Tiered pay reduction happened in 2009. No salary increases in 2009. The worst part of it all is that free health care, yearly raises, etc were the things that made Jack Henry an especially good place to work, but if they keep it up, none of these things will exist. Once those things are all gone, JHA is just another place to work.
