The only downside in working at Jackson would be the traffic in and around Miami.

There's NO focus on the terrible culture at Main or North that only promotes the who's who and longevity instead of the skilled and contributing members. TODAYs skilled and effective job seeker is one that looks forward to a positive and supportive culture in an employer. I don't care what no one says, THIS IS A POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT and that is so outdated and comes across a bit racist at times as well. Quit being in denial. Face the reality and make some BIG changes. No one under 35 wants to be part of such a political environment such as Jackson's, longer than 3-5 years (with daily prayer). While we would hope that the culture was something employees look forward to everyday when coming to work at Jackson, ITS NOT. If it wasn't for the community that we serve and it being JACKSON (one of the largest public teaching hospitals in the U.S.), its safe to say No one would work here. You must be a fan favorite (favored by those that are the very issue to culture progressing) to be promoted. The top management seems to continue to the only ones that get promoted.
