      Pros

      I've been with Jackson for over 10 years. Being connected to the organization's mission to serve its patient and its community regardless of status is something special you want to be part of. Its bigger than the job itself.

      Cons

      Due to the patient population it serves, the demands and expectations are heavier than most employers . Just having the technical skills is not enough to thrive and succeed in the organization. Having the right passion and people skills are critical.

      Overall great company to test your skills and grow professionally. Sometimes you will be wearing a lof of hats in order to get the job done. Great benefits package.

      Cons

      Lack of career growth within the marketing department. Pay increase and promotion do not happen to often.

      Pros

      The benefits are probably the best thing about the job. Except for holidays, in which you don't get holiday pay. Also, you have union representatives that will fight for your rights.

      Cons

      The attitude of the employees are very nonchalant. There is a shortage of staff and it puts added stress on the employees. You must be mentally strong because they try to weed out a lot of the hirees.
