      Learned a lot but stayed in the same position for six years.

      Pros

      Some good engineers at the senior staff level.

      Cons

      Only 6 holidays, 8 hours each per year. Very little paid time off , vacation time is combined with sick time and snow days, doctor visits etc. Workers work extra hours to take black Friday off, or any additional holiday weekends. Never a bonus. Billability is the only thing management is interested in. Management does not recognize technical talent. Corporate Motto "Beyond Zero" is to minimize law suits, not because they are a "culture of caring".

      Pros

      Great, personable friendly people to work with and they have a lot of things in place in tended to make it a great work experience.

      Cons

      Very low moral right now and managements attitude is "well at least you still have a job." There is a lack of clear communication for major things occuring in the company and rumors from others outside the company is usually better information then what we get. A salary freeze since September 2008. where is the incentive for being a hard worker?

      Pros

      Very little commute, time off when needed. Interesting technology work that would not be available in non space related industry.

      Cons

      Jacobs is laying off workers based on age and high salary and anyone that tells the truth. Jacobs management makes hiring decisions based on younger age without any qualms of who knows.
