Great Place to Work

Pros

Jamf is a great place to work. The people make this company and I can truly say I haven’t been with a better group in a long time. They expect you to show up and work hard at a very fast pace. From my VP on down, I know that my work is appreciated and that I can express opinions and help drive change to make it an even better place to work. When I make a mistake, I am asked what can we learn from this instead of how can you make such a mistake. How refreshing.

Cons

The learning curve can be very steep, and you can feel like you are drinking out of a fire hose when you first arrive. It sometimes feels like you will never catch up, so you need to be ready to give it your all. This is an international company so if you are not careful you can follow the sun around the world and not stop working.

Pros

Very flexible. Ability to work from home. Great product makes it easy to sell. Ability to obtain experience selling into enterprise. Great perks. You get a MacBook when you walk in, access to Apple accessories and an Apple Watch or tablet.

Cons

Unattractive commission plan. It’s team based and everyone has an individual number. If one persons misses nobody gets accelerated pay. Often times acting as a bit of a secretary to the field account executive. You do a lot of the tasks and deals they don’t want to do. It seems that the company is growing so rapidly it’s becoming much more corporate.
