Low Pay and just OK environment

Pros

Fine entry level resume builder if you need it.

Cons

They will always pay you like you're an entry level employee. As the company has grown they care less and less about people (customers and employees) and more about the bottom line, especially after going public in 2020. Promotions are almost always based on seniority, not on skill or even interest in being a manager, which fosters an internal culture of gross incompetence and little understanding of framing real career paths for individual contributors. Diversity & inclusion is also a complete joke at this company - So many white dudes - one of which is their evangelical "all lives matter" conservative CEO

We are sorry that this was your experience at Jamf, and appreciate your comments and feedback. We do have a strong culture of promotion based on progressive skills and experience, often gained through an employee’s growth in their current role. All Jamfs are encouraged to work towards their long-term career goals, discover new interests as well as cross-department opportunities. In addition, there is a structured program for new manager training which includes live instruction and connections to fellow leaders. We constantly strive for improvement and continue to evolve our commitment to support equity, diversity, and inclusion. This includes increased funding and support for our Employee Resource Groups, expanded mental health and wellness benefits, and racial justice and anti-racism training for our Jamfs. We see these as early steps, but not the final journey.

Pros

culture, support, resources and competitive pay. I've never worked for a company that openly supports and encourages employees to explore other avenues and careers within the company. They also have taken extreme care to provide remote employees with the tools/set-up they need to continue working productively. Jamf also has created a product and platform that has become crucial to organizations success during COVID.

Cons

Not a con but an area of improvement - building towards a more diverse workforce

Thank you for leaving a review! At Jamf, we do support employee growth through the horizontal, as well as the vertical paths, for all of our Jamfs to work towards their long-term careers goals. We have successfully onboarded more than 380 new Jamfs virtually since the pandemic began and ensure our current employees have what they need to be successful working remotely. We are actively working every day with our Inclusion & Diversity Director and Employee Resource Groups to create an environment that embraces and celebrates unique perspectives and ideas. Our commitment on becoming a more inclusive and diverse workplace is never done.
