Pros

There's always alot going on at Hong Kong airport.. Very active working environment, meet lots of different people.. The work itself isn't too difficult.. And there's a lot to learn.. If you don't want to see your family or have any free time whatsoever, this is the perfect job for you! It's a good stepping stone to transferring into other positions related to the services sector or anything airport related.. Since Jardine is well known for its ruthlessness..

Cons

Shift hours are tough, there's effectively no day off, extremely beauraucratic.. Senior staff are very moody, new employees do not feel at home at all.. If you want to see your family (or anyone that doesn't work at the airport) during your employment do not work here at all costs...

Pros

The core workforce is solid: approachable, grounded, and made up of people who generally treat one another well. Exposure to the realities of operating in Asian markets offers a useful learning experience. Many senior leaders present as personable and well‑intentioned and appear to be making genuine efforts to act in the company’s long‑term interests.

Cons

The organisation appears to be in a prolonged period of flux, with unclear direction and a noticeable impact on engagement and morale. Long-standing internal networks among senior staff seem to have outsized influence, occasionally resulting in roles being filled based more on tenure or relationships than on capability. Decision‑making is heavily politicized, with overlapping mandates and blurred accountability leading to stalled or unfocused initiatives. There is a mismatch between the scale of stated ambitions and the everyday behaviors on display, with interpersonal dynamics sometimes undermining progress.
