Struggling to get to their next phase

Pros

The people you will work with are some of the kindest and most helpful people you will ever meet. The remote first workplace, healthcare benefits, and unlimited PTO are very nice.

Cons

The company has been struggling to meet their financial goals and to come up with their next product that will save the business. Their decision support tool is losing customers faster than they can grow the next arm of their business. The result of that is regular role reductions (the most recent this past December), team reorgs, and people who leave are not always replaced leading to more stress on existing teams.

Pros

A lot of company-wide enthusiasm for the new platform we're building and bringing to market.

Cons

We did have another not-insignificant layoff at the end of 2025. Leadership seems to have adopted this annual practice as a business strategy rather than a last resort.
