Pros

Their menu is easy to understand, and therefore easy to describe to a customer. The average customer is not very discerning, and therefore easy to lead. A lot of the customers are genuinely good people, especially at the location I worked (35205).

Cons

Upper management makes rash decisions on a whim with no knowledge of the day to day operations of any given restaurant. Many of my coworkers were barely qualified to breathe, let alone wait tables. I felt that the overall reputation of the restaurant, influenced by the aforementioned servers, limited my prospects as a server, by reducing volume.

Pros

Flexible schedule IF you have seniority. Free food IF you have seniority.

Cons

Advertise making $22 an hour...they pay minimum. Don't be fooled they expect tips to make up the rest of your pay. The tip pool practices violate federal law. Forced to share tips with management. Sketchy and secretive. There is no opportunity or place to grow. They will exploit you at every opportunity. Local owners don't give a **** about anything but making money. Forgets there are real people working. Inclusion committee is a joke, the misogyny is rampant, and they just lie. Lie and lie and lie. They USE to be a better company. Then they got greedy with the pandemic and Roark.

Good place to make quick cash

Pros

Flexibility with schedules, they will work with you if you are in school, etc. Ability to make great money and receive it that day (fast cash) Form great friendships with coworkers Casual setting, not fine dining environment Fun and fast paced environment Mostly friendly clientele making it an enjoyable serving experience Ability to learn great customer "hospitality" skills Great job to get you through school while being able to pay bills with the fast cash that you can make Good "starter" job

Cons

Small restaurant/kitchen that can get really packed when busy making serving difficult because of the inability to move anywhere without bumping into customers/coworkers EXTREMELY hot in the summer time! If you want to make big money you need to be willing to work weekends Rely solely on tips, so if it is not busy that day or you are getting small tips you will not make much money A lot of side work, cleaning, restocking, etc. Management can be somewhat disorganized and difficult to get a hold of when having issues
