Best Job I've Ever Had

Pros

Great hours, amazing crew, easy work, commission scale is good, management is awesome, the regional Tom really cares about his sellers and is always there for you if you have any questions or concerns. Don't forget: great benefits and 401k.

Cons

Business just isn't that great. Commission scale is good but when you're not getting the customers through the door you're only making $5 an hour and management doesn't make much more.

It was a rough company to work for before the men's wearhouse buy out. At least decisions made by management were to help grow the business and they did. After the merger, new management promised "best practices". Previous jab management had a lot of efficiencies that were very profitable. Mens wearhouse chose to follow only their practices, and working for both companies, the difference was clear.

The co-workers were great team players.

Cons

The commission scale/rate was ridiculous and nearly impossible to achieve except at peak Holiday times unless you are in a very high traffic store. This is truly a minimum wage job. Since it's retail expect to work EVERY weekend and most holidays.
