Pros

I have flexibility with my schedule and the new commission structure seems promising.

Cons

The list is long, but I'll only mention the following. The POS system is highly inefficient especially for catalog orders. I had one customer who should have been out the door in twenty minutes but didn't leave for an hour and a half because of this system. For each item ordered there is a nine digit code that needs to be determined and manually entered. The item then needs to be checked if it is available to be ordered. Customers usually get very frustrated especially when multiple items need ordered. The time it takes to do this is ridiculous. In addition, the online catalog frequently does not open and it takes multiple tries just to get in the catalog. Customer service is usually not helpful either. They don't know the products and don't have access to any more information than the sales executive. My ability to provide quality customer service has diminished greatly since Men's Warehouse took over. I have had many customers, over the years I have worked at this company, share with me that they don't like shopping at Men's Warehouse because of a lack of professionalism and poor quality of the products. I'm afraid that with these and other changes Jos. A Bank is headed towards a similar outcome.

Pros

Some flexibility with hours. I am trying desperately to think of something because I am required to write a minimum of 20 words in this box.

Cons

I have worked here several years and proven my skill, my reliability and my determination to go above and beyond. When customers are rude and unreasonable I am told by corporate that I am to keep trying to make them happy until they chose to leave. I am told by corporate to NOT complete alterations unpaid for but when a customer arrives to pick up their suit and find that it is incomplete, they complain and then I am told to finish it for FREE. I am expected to do my job and the sales associates jobs and often the managers job. I have not seen one raise even though the quality and efficiency of my work continues to rank at the top in my district. I was offered a job by a competitor when I had only been here a month and if I had accepted that job at $2/hr LESS I would be making more money today because that company gives RAISES.
