Pros

Software: Zoom Info Remote: Fexible Remote Working Ability

Cons

They promote ghost job/fake job posting for pipeline database building, resulting in a poor candidate job seeker experience from a public perspective. 1 out of 10 jobs posted may actually be a urgent role, the rest we are actually told to keep posting to build the database.. (hmmm.) Owner banters and promotes, kindness and respect. It is far from that if you pee back the onion. From people being fired with no warning, no reason, via email, to clients being bombarded and initiated by internal recruiters stepping over each other email spamming them for business, to candidates being ghosted or applying to fake pipeline jobs, along with internal recruiters fighting or (calling/texting/emailing) the same candidates daily to selfishly gain credit to place them, it at most times is a circus show to put it nicely. They talk down on companies like RHI, yet bring the same bad habits and greed over to this workplace, by way of "every man for themselves", mentality, it's quite contradictory and hypocritical. Any review worthy of a 5 star on Google or GD is more than likely a internal employee pushed via countless emails from the CEO to leave a 5 star rating. However the real 5 star ratings should be coming from client and candidate experience and it's far from that, with most a 1 to 3 star rating at best. They spend all this money on bougie parties and flashy materialistic items, when they should pour more money back into their staff and teams for additional support, advice, or training. Most people don't care about a monthly gift closer basket they would rather have earned it from money or commissions, but the fakeness is really high here, so they play the game and boast about it on LinkedIn. From the outside looking in, it truly looks like a selfish act on social media, versus posting more about people they help, rather than themselves and their LV bags..

Pros

Coming to Jobot as an agency recruiter you know from the beginning that you will most likely have an aggressive non-compete (from your previous employer), so in order to be successful you need to understand that it will take effort and starting from scratch to find success. For those that complain about "not being able to work their old accounts", well they must have not been very good with those accounts if the hiring managers aren't asking for you as an account manager after you have switched companies. Just like my previous employer, Jobot offers a guaranteed base and uncapped commissions, meaning you need to exceed your base salary in commissions in order to receive a bonus. This is NOT unique to the agency world & Heidi is willing to offer top performers GENEROUS base salaries in order to leave there cushy jobs without taking too much of a financial hit. I have NEVER been asked to make a LinkedIn Post, and I have never been asked to "Like" a LinkedIn post. I think it is super unethical for certain people to make this up in an effort to discredit the passion so many others have for a culture that is without question the best in the industry. When it comes to our internal AI platform Jax, it is unreal how powerful this software is. It is also incredible how much money Jobot spends on job posting spots. As someone who knows first hand how expensive it is to post a job on LinkedIn, each employee at Jobot gets dozens of rotating job spots that can be used in anyway you would like. This is NOT like any other ATS platform you can invest in, and for someone to say that is the case is comical and coming from a very uneducated understanding of different platforms. The reality is this. If you are willing to check your ego at the door, collaborate with others & you are willing to work hard you can make more $$$ than ever working for Jobot, while having the opportunity to build your own team of top performing recruiting professionals. If you are not willing to work hard and you are under the impression that you are going to be able to just walk in and start working with your same clients, you should NOT take a job here because you are clearly looking for the easy way out when it comes to building a successful career in staffing. This is a sales position & in order for you to stay in a sales position, you need to put up numbers. Like any sales role, if you are not performing & you are pointing the finger at everyone else but yourself, you will not last long at an amazing company like Jobot. So before accepting a position at Jobot, ask yourself a few questions and be honest with your answers. 1: Did I find success at my current staffing agency by identifying a BRAND new client and turning that company into revenue (clients that your current employer never worked with previously, no matter which line of business)? If yes, can I repeat this & am I ready to do whatever I can to build up a new book anywhere in the US!? 2: If all of your best accounts disappeared tomorrow & you were forced to build up an entirely new book of business, would you be able to do it? If the answer is yes, put together a business plan on how you would go about doing this & understand that when you take a new job at a staffing agency, you will need to put this plan into action in order to be successful! If the answer is "no", definitely reconsider leaving your employer & do not take a job at Jobot. 3: Do you have what it takes to start from scratch & are you excited for the challenge? If the answer is yes, but No "you are not excited to build your book from scratch", do not come to Jobot as you will not be happy. It doesn't matter what company you join, if you are not excited to build up your book of business from scratch, you will find yourself unhappy and writing "vengeful reviews" on Glassdoor full of finger pointing and lies. If you answered "yes" and "yes, I'm excited for the challenge and prospect of building an entirely new book of business anywhere in the country, within any skillset and vertical", then accept your offer from Jobot or hit submit on your application for employment with Jobot.

Cons

There is no way to "blend in" and not work hard. This is a nightmare for those that were given accounts at previous employers & were able to just coast as an "account manager", simply just staying in touch with one large account and watching new JO's roll in that you just push to your recruiting team and watch them put in the work to identify candidates, while you simply earn 50% of a deal that you did nothing to earn. A good way to avoid landing here if you are wondering if you are that person, be honest and upfront with your numbers (during the interview process) and reason for success at your most recent employer. Jobot doesn't hire staffing professionals that don't have experience doing business development, as you are expected to build up a book of business from scratch once you start. I personally do not have one CON to mention, but I have seen some people succeed and some people fail at Jobot....and the biggest difference between these 2 groups is a couple things - effort and entitlement. For those that lack effort and feel entitled to accounts that they worked in the past, you will surely not find success at Jobot unless you take a look in the mirror and realize you control your destiny and get to determine who will work with you on the client side. Coming from a multibillion dollar company prior to Jobot, the rules of engagement were completely rigged & it was so unfair how major accounts were "hands off" because another employee had been "talking to them" (not transacting, but talking to them). At Jobot, the only way you have ownership over an account is if you are transacting, plain and simple. That is a dream come true to so many agency recruiters looking for an even playing field, as you cannot just stake claim to an account at Jobot, you need to earn that business and prove that you are having success with them be filling open roles.
