Pros

Mission driven company where everyone really believes in the product. We get to work with some amazing nonprofits and community groups locally and nationwide. Great work from home policy and flexible work hours in general. Cool office in Pioneer Square with snacks and drinks, monthly team outings, lunches

Cons

It is a startup so things move really fast and there can be a lot on your plate at once. Things can be better streamlined and more professional. Benefits could be better

Pros

Co-workers are smart and kind. Each person has a lot of ownership so every really cares about the users and the company. Jobscan is one of the few tech startups that has a well defined product roadmap. It's on the right path to make job search fun and simple. Sprint cycles are bi-weekly with very little interruption, which is fantastic.

Cons

As much as the company innovates the product, it's also important to revisit performance of existing features.

Pros

Jobscan uses AI to help job seekers land interview faster. It's one of the very few socially driven startups that's actually profitable and growing. It moves fast and listens to customer feedback. Even customer service has the power to file engineering tickets and request product changes. I've learned 10x more here than my last company. Management has a high bar and works hard. It's not a place to cruise — it is a startup after-all. It resembles Amazon's early days. If you want to grow multiple sets of skills and is willing to take your career to the next level, this is the place. The company provides health, vision, free snacks, work-from-home twice a week, 401K, happy hours, and frequent promotions.

Cons

Management is highly selective on talent so hiring could be faster. There have been critics about work/balance so now the company offers generous work from home policies.
