Pros

I worked at JS for just over 6 years. This is the kind of job that is what you make it. If you want an easy job to clock in and get a paycheck you should go work at a big company with lots of bureaucratic bs. But if you are passionate about what you do and you put in the effort you are rewarded handsomely. In my time there revenues had more than tripled which was the result of of the employees who worked hard, took pride in their work, and executed. Key contributors are appreciated and advance quickly.

Cons

Since JS is largely a self funded organization capitol constraints were an issue from time to time and decisions on what internal projects could be accomplished had to be prioritized.

Pros

Great team. It's my first small company to work for coming from the Fortune 500s and it's been an amazing experience. I'm learning so much with the ups and downs of the daily operation and am passionate about always working on what we need to do better internally and externally.

Cons

Slightly disorganized at times, but that is what we all work together on. Also, what company isn't disorganized here and there?

Pros

Startup-like environment where you can directly see your effect on the business.

Cons

Company has been needing money for a while. Customers hate the product. Always playing a catchup game trying to pacify them. Executive set goals are a moving target leaving employees feeling un-accomplished and frustrated
