Pros

Great people to work with and great feeling of shared value. Staff are motivated because we all own the company and each get a tasty bonus every year based on profits. It is for our own interest to help the business forward

Cons

Decision making can be extremely slow due to the partnership structure. Everything needs to go through everyone to get approved then needs to go through everyone back to the employee.

The attitude of the business. The like-mindedness of all Partners. The perks (bonus, holiday centres, final salary, non contributory pension, etc etc). Re the holiday centres- stay in a Berkshire stately home, an exclusive castle on Brownsea island, a spa in Bala, a mansion or lodge in Hampshire, or a activity centre in the Lake District for £25 per night (B&B and evening meal!!!) Work/life balance is amazing. Also subsidised events, corporate box in the O2 arena (Rolling Stones or Barbara Streisand £65 pp anyone??) Loads more!

Cons

A bit too easy going. Lack of performance management. Bonus is still paid to those with performance issues/high levels of absence.
