Cons

Large scale downsizing occurred between May 2013 and November 2013. It will not be the same place to work anymore. Expect leaner working conditions in the near future.

Nice people - non-management employees and hospital folks were great to work with Good benefits for management - pay is above market but the real bucks start at Director level Big, slow organization - no innovation, infrastructure is from 1990s

Cons

Accountability is not important Senior leadership lacks controls over e-business Directors; high turnover rates in department Big, slow organization - used paper time sheets and manual reviews up to 2012, for 6500 employees.

Pros

Good (local) reputation, Magnet ratings, competitive compensation, good benefits. Most workers are hard working and want to see JMH succeed.

Cons

Poor management, too many chiefs, some not honest and interested with managed employees. JMH recently hired an outside firm who inaccurately assessed the staff in a long term audit. JMH is currently going through staff reductions, recommended by an this outside firm in order to stay afloat in an attempt to administer the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
