Pros

Thankfully management is easy to work with. Safety is a high priority with our group. Ability to plan my own days and work freely.

Cons

No overtime, lots of windshield time, limited resources. A-Lot of middle management. My position is at the bottom and I have 3 managers I have to report to. Looming divesture does not bode well with no information from management.

Pros

HVAC products are very successful in the market. JCI management has been purchasing companies during a recession, in my opinion a good indicator of a solid product and market niche with long term planning by senior leaders.

Cons

Politics!!!! If you are an employee of a department associated with headquarters, but are not located in Milwaukee, then you are a second class citizen. As the old saying goes, politics is just a vain attempt to make stupidity look like a virtue. Politics caused a waste of millions of dollars of development money with literally no revenue received due to a very poor product planning approach.

Cons

No commitment to keeping the right employees or treating customers better. JCI will not follow contract terns with customers and will try to not repair anything that will hurt the numbers for that month
