Pros

Great start to a career Excellent learning opportunities The experience is what you make of it. Once you learn the basic functions, it's up to you whether you want to go above and beyond. I'd recommend you do; a great work ethic is what propels you upwards in any career.

Cons

Long work days, most new PCE's start on night shift. After adjusting to the sleep schedule, it's just like working day shift. Call me crazy, but I look forward to every upcoming shift. Make it a mission to learn something new or make an improvement, however small, every day.
