Pros

Excellent health plan with minimum cost to employees and reasonable copays Very diverse workforce Great people Adequate physical resources to do your job

Cons

Very poor vision plan and dental plan limits are not competitive Senior experienced employees are valued more for their length of service than their actual contributions or willingess to accept change Communication appears poor between all levels of management and is very poor with direct reports Pay is lower than average and raises from promotions are very minimal (3-4%) Performance evaluations are late and regular feedback is rarely given Analysis to determine actual headcount requirements doesn't appear to be done Work/life balance is poor; significant amounts of regular overtime from some exempt employees

Pros

Overall it was a pleasant work environment with pleasant people. Company is doing it's best to go Green. It has a variety of industries to choose from and transfer to. That's the best I can come up with.

Cons

They do not conduct a performance review at the time it is due. For such a large and successful company, benefits are poor in comparison with similar or smaller firms. Your vacation and PTO are run together. If you are sick, it comes out of your vacation. They expect you to work endless overtime hours and yet asking for personal time off is like pulling teeth. Minimal vision insurance. Dental insurance yearly max is less than typical for a large firm. Human resources is slow and unreliable. (corporate in PA) More into demoting than promoting at all levels. Years of loyalty and service means nothing.

Pros

Great company to work for...Management is fair with their employees. Good opportunity for advancement in career path. Would recommend to others.

Cons

Working out on the factory floor is very hot. You better be prepared to sweat like crazy in the summer.
