Decent Pay Terrible For Work Life/Balance
Pros
Pay and incentive bonus (before the merge which was not taxed at 40%); very good healthcare, but good luck having time to take care of yourself with the increasing needs of the department.
Cons
Upper management does not handle concerns; good luck using your PTO if you like to plan ahead don't count on your requests being returned in a decent time frame; Since I've started the name of the game is bait and switch I was not given the hours I was promised nor the job assignment I was promised from the start. If you value a life outside of work this may not be the place for you as they are always extremely understaffed with no answer as to why they are not hiring. If you want to transfer or find other opportunities within UNC you will be blocked. Management does different rules to different people and enforces those rules according to who they want them to apply to. Overall the culture and environment is extremely Toxic.
