Good pay and hours; Rude management

Pros

Hourly pay is pretty good and you can get a decent amount of hours as long as you're available. Good job if you're in school. The system is easy to use to enter your hours and always paid on time. Getting to meet different families and kids is cool.

Cons

Management is very rude and talks to you like you're a little kid or stupid. Required meetings on the weekends. Sometimes you have to drive really far for jobs and don't get paid for gas.

There were unrealistic expectations for little pay.

Pros

The physical office itself looks welcoming. Lots of resources available on website. Hard working nannies. Hard working tutors.

Cons

*Low pay all around *Unrealistic expectations for recruitment of families and nannies *People are hired on without introduction... Like, they just show up at the office and tell me they are my coworker *No clear job responsibilities... And when the responsibilites that "are your's" are not done, you are yelled at either verbally or with a demoralizing email *Management is unprofessional and tactless I could continue, but I think you already get the point

Pros

-Only pro is flexible schedule -Gain experience for a better job elsewhere

Cons

-You don’t get paid for babysitting additional kids. -They charge the families higher rates than you get paid for. -Management is unhelpful. -They hardly give you anything for mileage and you don’t receive anything for the liability of driving children in your car. -You have to deal with unruly kids and difficult parents. -You can’t rely on this as a main income source. -Hardly any benefits. -You’re better off working independently. The rates are better.
