Pros

The people that worked at KIND were confident and trusted the company and its leaders before 2018. Amazing products to sell. People were THE ABSOLUTE BEST to work with. Daniel Lubetzky’s mission was very rewarding to carry on.

Cons

People are working afraid of another possible layoff. Culture is broken and leadership brought in leaders who are not aligned with the kind culture. They were brought up to make everyone feel they were just another number. KIND is what it is because of the people they removed. They are reaping the work of many team members they let go of. You have managers who are bullies and that is not what this company is about.

Our mission and people are key ingredients to our success. KIND has grown tremendously in the last few years (from new team members and new products to an expanding global footprint). With this growth has come new ways of working, strategic visioning, and lots of learning. We view our culture as a collective responsibility which all team members have a role in preserving -- regardless of your tenure or role within the organization. We expect all team members to live our KIND values and foster our unique culture. We hope you shared your feedback with your manager or our leadership team directly during your time with KIND. If not, our door is always open. – KIND HR

Pros

free KIND bars, fun events

Cons

a lot of wear and tear on your car, lots of lifting, driving unpaid all over the area for 3 hour shifts (they reimburse you for mileage, but you might end up driving 45 mins each way, so your shift takes 4.5 hours, but you get paid for 3 essentially.) It's a lot of work. You end up subsidizing KIND a lot because they want you to do things but don't want to pay you.

Pros

KIND is an awesome place to work for many reasons. First, our products are the best in our industry! No other 'health' bar can compare to KIND bars. We have the best tasting and most nutritious snacks and I'm proud to be part of a company that cares about what you put in your body. Second, KIND cares about its team members. We have an open door policy and access to our senior leaders so that we can offer suggestions to make our company better. Team members genuinely care about each other and go out of their way to help each other. We have great benefits, stock options and other perks like on site massages and mindfulness. We also have a program that helps any team member when they are going through tough financial times. Our culture is the best I have ever experienced in my career! We may not be perfect, but everyone at KIND cares about our culture and company. Third, we have a great mission to spread Kindness throughout the world. Daniel has committed his own money to create initiatives like Feed the Truth and Empatico and all our team members carry #kindawesome cards to recognize acts of kindness.

Cons

Salaries could a little more competitive and we need more space at our office

Our team members, like you, are part of what makes KIND such an awesome place to work. We appreciate you sharing your experience, including our unique perks and benefits, and we value your advice to the leadership team. Culture is a top priority for us, and your ambassadorship is a key ingredient to keeping the culture we have today. Thanks for all you do! – KIND HR
