      Smoke and mirrors-- the good, the bad, and the ugly.

      Pros

      Coworker are okay. Kids are great. Snacks/swag/teacher rewards are decent. Will earn lots of cups for your kitchen if you're into that kind of thing.

      Cons

      -Residents get underpaid. Doesn't matter your experience, or if you have a degree. -Longggggggg PD that doesn't match with what youre doing in the classroom. Easily getting home after 6pm daily. -Admin/managers do not care about you, will lie. -Chances of upward promotion slim, be prepared to leave you residency school, because they do not have enough positions. They oversell the dream. Reality is grim for you. Run away fast. Other direction. you will regret ever wasting your time here.

      Zero. All talk, no action.

      Hours are long, the staff is condescending and clique-y. They talk a big talk but have no action to follow through. Unorganized.

      Pay and benefits are good in regards to the average low-paying profession of being a teacher.

      Work can feel a disservice at times. There are politics and popularity. Be popular you will get a promotion and raise. There should be more focus on data.
