I love that I'm able to work with like-minded individuals that prioritize students needs. Everyone at KIPP works incredibly hard because we are passionate about getting all our students prepared for college and beyond. We often provide feedback to one another and understand our strengths and areas of growth. This leads to a culture of continuous improvement.

Cons

Our work is incredibly challenging, but our scholars and their success make it worth every hour we put into the job!

Cons

-Disconnect between regional office and buildings -Lack of diversity in leadership (minimal number of Black males except for positions that are used to influence or control behavior) -Poor leadership at the elementary level (they're clueless and petty) -WAY too many suspensions for elementary aged children
