Pros

The Group works well with each other and is very helpful. The experience was impeccable as an employee and the firm is very active in the Private equity space and now is looking into expansion options which provides a wide breadth of knowledge. The day to day work varies a lot but you are usually swamped with work, so for the narcissists looking to constantly improve themselves this is the kind of job you are looking for. The Interview was very fit based and had some basic technical but knowledge of excel and powerpoint are emphasized. Some of the people in the group have worked in the industry for many years and are very knowledgeable about hte space so it is a great opportunity ot learn, The role of the group within the company is very much the client interaction and provide reporting and constant updates on the company and its current investments. Also you are partnered with the Capital Markets team which is a space KKR is expanding in so you get exposure the the investment banking knowledge of an IPO process and marketing companies. As well as the debt restructuring which is very important in an industry reliant financial leverage.

Cons

The work is very sporadic and sometimes your lose a work life balance. Although the group itself can be fun the work can be slightly mundane at times.

Pros

Nice office, free lunch, still prestigious

Cons

The technology leadership since 2025 has failed to improve the relationship with operational and finance stakeholders, to state a coherent strategy for their division, or to show any sort of consistent policy beyond hiring their buddies from previous jobs. They don’t seem to understand how technology is evolving despite constantly hyping up AI. They have failed to fulfill their promises on improving the experience for business and support stakeholders. The merger with Global Atlantic has been catastrophic. Decision making appears based more on politics than competence. On benefits - changed health insurance providers twice in two years.
