Pros

- working with lots of smart and energetic people - fun and inventive culture - the marketing team has been a pleasure to work with! - there's always opportunity to grow and to learn new things - great benefits and perks - volunteer work organized by the company (it's beautiful to be able to give back to the community) - I feel I can be open and honest with the company's leaders - if any issues arise, I can address it with management - the VP (people operations) is a fantastic person! - abundance of healthy breakfasts, lunches and snacks - beautiful, fun SF office

Cons

- company is moving fast and your workload may sometimes overwhelm you (you need to be flexible and be able to multitask) - your role and responsibilities may change from time to time but the company will help you through the transitions.

Pros

C-Level powerhouse. You will be hard pressed to find a company with C-Levels who are as close to their team as they are at Kabbage. This leads to great communication about internal projects and allows a definitive approach to driving the future of the company's product. The CEO's vision is one of resolute innovation in an industry that is in its infancy, but poised for phenomenal growth. The COO shares the CEO's vision, is one of the most approachable people you will ever meet, and has a stacked background for driving our product. She is also very instrumental in maintaining a culture of 'Real' that we have here, which I challenge anyone to find in Atlanta right now. Actually don't waste your time, you won't. The CFO has made recent strides that have been streamlining the profitability of the company, I've got a lot of respect for this guy. There are some fresh faces on their team right now, however they have powerful backgrounds that I believe will compliment the direction of the company's future nicely. The culture that the COO has created makes you feel like you are working with people you have known for a really long time. This dynamic drives personal growth amongst the team as everyone works really hard at moving the needle. The development team is super intelligent, and the camaraderie everyone has is pretty amazing. You definitely have some other ancillary perks like lunch daily, plenty of snacks (healthy ones too), beer on tap, and an espresso machine. It definitely feels like silicon valley.

Cons

The following may not be a con. For those who have not had the luxury of working at a startup, they may feel a little overwhelmed by the pace and amount of work that is required for them to pick up quick. Working at or starting up a startup, especially one like this, requires you not to silo yourself off into a job description, rather if there is work that you can do, you must. Everyone is an owner, so you have to work like you own it. This type of work may not be appealing to some, but I live for this stuff. Also, the culture to use a quote from another post is definitely "uncensored" so some people may not be able to handle it, personally I don't believe in censorship.

Pros

A company that truly does care about their employees and community. Top of the line equipment. Fun atmosphere. Great Atlanta and San Francisco teams. Very open executive team. Exciting product road map. Great pay and benefits.

Cons

Moving very fast. I struggle to define this as a pro or con. If you want a slow paced environment, don’t work at a start up with tons of potential. However, with so many projects going on at once it can get challenging.
