      The tech works, the rest is execution

      Pros

      The science happening here is really cutting edge, as you can guess from the number of PhDs on staff. Leadership has defined a company culture that is essentially kind and thoughtful while maintaining very high standards for quality of work. Small teams are given a good amount of autonomy in how they pursue agreed outcomes, with project proposals treated as potential investments. It's a great place to learn and grow in your career.

      Cons

      The company has been transitioning from a "proof of concept" type of startup to a fast-growing, commercially viable business over the past couple of years. Leadership is aware of the internal work that needs to be done in order scale, and the mandate is there to get it done, but still, it's a lot of work that needs to be done. When you're used to seeing results from your ideas quickly, the scalable and commercially viable way of doing things can feel slow in comparison.
