Pros

Great hiring team. They are good at selecting talent. Quality people hired. Unlimited time off, but you can’t use it because of work load.

Cons

Have a habit of hiring teams only to let entire teams go. This year, 2024 was the 3rd major let go in the last 3-4 years. They have let go of entire departments. When I was hired I had asked why such a huge hiring spree. The answer was very technical. Most people left good long term employers because they actively recruited folks, only to let go of them almost 2 years later. They did the same to the team before the most recent group. I’m not sure what’s happening exactly but I would strongly recommend against anyone moving to Kasasa. In addition to this, management is running a 20 year old company like a start up still. The resources available do not meet the demands or expectations of the job. What should have been 40-45 hour weeks were closer to 65 hour work weeks for the majority of the Client Success team, if not more. They laid off close to 200 people this past year that I know off only to rehire a new team. Strong desire to succeed as a company but does not have the correct structure or leadership to move this forward. Not good at listening to feedback that could help. Again, taking a job at Kasasa is a huge risk. You should be ready for them to let you go.

Dear Spartan, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re pleased to know that you had a positive experience with our hiring team and appreciated the talent and dedication of your colleagues. Building a strong team is something we take pride in. We recognize the impact of organizational changes, and we understand that layoffs can create uncertainty and challenges for employees. These decisions are difficult and are made with the long-term vision of the company in mind. However, we understand that this can be disruptive and disappointing, particularly for those who joined us with a vision of stability and growth. Your feedback about workload, resources, and strategic direction is valued. As we continue working to align our operations and goals, we’re actively seeking ways to improve resource management, provide clearer structure, and maintain open lines of communication to support our team members’ well-being and professional growth. Thank you again for your insights, which help us reflect on areas where we can better support our people. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and appreciate the contributions you made during your time with us. Please feel free to reach out directly to me if you have any specific feedback that would be helpful in our growth as a company.
