      Their AM process is flawed. They hired way too many AM's and not enough AE's, relying on new acquisitions to provide AM's with accounts to work with. They just fired 350 people mainly in sales and said it wasnt a layoff but "performance based firing" which is bull

      Legacy Datto employee now working under Kaseya, honestly it is better than I expected

      Pros

      I am a legacy datto employee, I still love going to work and being able to help our partners restore from a disaster. We have the freedom to dedicate ourselves to our work without being micromanaged.

      Cons

      After the buyout we did loose some of our amazing benefits. 401k match for legacy datto employees is now a company stock match. Which that may be a great benefit, time will tell. Kaseya is an in office company, which moving from wfh/hybrid has caused me to miss out on a lot of family events, especially my kids school events. No merit increases for anyone with any kind of wfh exception.
