Pros

Working at Kaseya has offered me a valuable opportunity to strike a healthy work-life balance. Initially skeptical about the daily office grind, I've come to appreciate the structure of a 9-to-5 workday. This balance has allowed me to recharge outside of work, ultimately leading to greater productivity during office hours. Additionally, I've found a sense of empowerment in my role, with the flexibility to propose innovative ideas and drive new deliverables. Furthermore, the mentorship provided by my experienced boss has been invaluable, offering insights into the company's inner workings and advocating for our team's interests.

Cons

Despite the positives, there are notable drawbacks within Kaseya's organizational culture. The top-down approach dominates decision-making processes, often leading to stagnation unless directives come directly from the CEO. This hierarchical structure can stifle creativity and hinder proactive problem-solving at lower levels. Furthermore, there's a concerning lack of emphasis on talent management and retention strategies. This oversight not only impacts employee morale but also contributes to attrition rates. Additionally, the absence of competitive benefits, such as stock options commonly offered elsewhere, poses a challenge in attracting and retaining top talent.

Thank you for sharing your experience. The Kaseya CEO prioritizes execution and accountability above all else. As a result, people who demonstrate the ability to get things done are offered the most opportunities for advancement, even over those with more experience or higher levels of education. Kaseya is a meritocracy. If you value a workplace where performance is the only limiting factor to what you can achieve, Kaseya is the right choice for you.

Low base for expensive city

Pros

A major pro is that with no sales experience or tech experience you still have a shot at landing the job. Opportunity is available to start in tech.

Cons

3 huge issues. Kaseya HQ is in one of the most expensive cities in the country and they offer 50-60k base which is extremely low. 2. In office culture is cool and all but they should offer some flexibility with hybrid possibilities. 3. 2019-2021 they grew a lot and the account managers were sleazy used car salesmen that didn’t care about burning bridge as lon as they got the sale. Now those account manager are manager of account managers and they have no clue how to lead a team.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We currently offer competitive starting salaries, annual performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package which includes a PPO health plan, life insurance, and disability insurance without any recurring costs for employee only coverage. Our PTO and national holidays are in line with our industry and company size. Further, most employees are eligible for equity option grants effectively making employees part owners of the company, which is something not many other private organizations offer. We’re a unique company with a tremendous growth trajectory and we love to reward our employees who contribute to our success! It is true that Kaseya has an on-site work policy without the option for remote work in most cases. This is because research indicates that team members collaborate more effectively, learn faster, and are more productive when they work together in an office environment. Additionally, it is our experience that after only a brief period of time on-site employees have a higher success rate and a significantly larger network than their peers who work mostly remote. We believe in Grow Your Own – meaning career growth for our Kaseyans from within, at a fast pace, and it’s most effective when we are in the office working together!
