Pros

They will hire you at a competitive rate and with good benefits right out of college Employees are generally kind to one another There are good learning opportunities available and good experiences in the corporate world (for someone just starting their career)

Cons

Work-life balance is not great (but depends on what department you are in and who you work for/with) - you may be expected to be available and willing to do anything and everything for anyone at any given moment of the day or night Very old-school mentality and unwilling to progress to today's world Reluctant to promote employees, hire from within, or give raises Incredibly disorganized Some "higher-level" employees are given the opportunity to stop progress and cause problems for multiple departments and HR/Management does nothing to stop this, even after many complaints from nearly everyone in a department You are just a number - you will be let go if you are not determined to be valuable in times of low revenue

Pros

The pay is decent.

Cons

Against blacks. Has used the N word to employees. Remachine very high end tooling so Ford does not know it was made outside the USA or would be refused. Not as safe as they put out to be. Some hidden from their records.

Pros

Local leadership and operators. Decent benefits, good pay.

Cons

Corporate direction. No work/life balance, no flexibility. Everyone has more responsibilities than their job title should have. Salary employees do not get overtime pay but in order to do the job well, it will require over 60 hours a week. Human Resources, Safety, and Quality managers are shared resources which puts more responsibilities on Supervisors and Engineers.
