My co-workers were professional, dependable, supportive, and friendly.

Cons

Salaries are not competitive. Changes brought on by the university's rapid growth are resisted by some long term employees. Politics get in way of a truly collaborative environment between administration and staff.

Cons

Some particular subjects may require more preparation than expected Hours of pay are set per week, usually about 6-8 Some students with whom you work are not always as polite or committed as you might hope

Good place to work as a student

I was a part time bookstore textbook employee. Good people, the work is easy and the hours are flexible. The priority registration and staff parking are clutch.

Cons

Difficult to become part time at the bookstore. People often start as temporary workers and get promoted through that process as needed.
