Pros

None. This is a company that takes over optometry offices that only cares about revenue goals with unrealistic expectations. If you are truly passionate about optometry and want to work at an optometry office, work at a private practice.

Cons

-non competitive pay. Practices around the area pay $8-$10 more. -no real possibility in growth at this company. The management has family connections and have been with Keplr since the company started. -management is abusive to their employees and is under qualified for the work they do. They leech off the companies budget which makes it hard to get raises. Their hotel and rent is paid for when they travel and their rental cars are paid as well. -unrealistic goals and expectations are set for the team. The office is expected to perform at BEFORE Covid -extremely understaffed. 5 people have left in less than one year. No new hires. The reason is a mystery.

This is an equity group that comes in and makes promises to the owners and employees before they aquire the practice that they have no intention of keeping, They have their aquistion team come in and pump up the employees and tell them what a GREAT company Keplr is and basically blowing smoke up ebrones backsides. Unhappy employees many of which have ended up quitting causing clinics to be short staffed because the ineffective middle managers make no effort to try to help with staffing. Vendors cutting off services to the clinics because they dont get paid. As a previous employer in a key position I witnessed the inner workings of this company and they are incompetant with very questionable business practices. Steer clear if they come sniffing arounf to purchase your clinic.

Pros

Doctors and support staff are great.

Cons

Upper management is only concerned about the bottom line, with no leadership support. No sick pay and PTO benefits are below average.
