I feel as though Keystone does not appropriately match their residents in the group homes. You will have one guy who is pretty much self sufficient, living with a guy who can barely move out of the bed. One of my guys that lives at the home that I take care of is very bright and can do most things on his own. I feel this home is holding him back.
I also think that very violent individuals should not be in a group home setting. They are hitting the staff and using curse words directed to the staff which is very inappropriate and dangerous to everyone's safety. If you try to defend yourself, best believe that you will be fired as Keystone has no regard for their staff.
I work full time and the shifts are crazy long and if you have to give medicine, in which you are already tired, that's a recipe for a mistake.
The constant traveling and out of pocket expenses are a bit much, especially the first 2 weeks.
