Pros

Large corporate environment, great internal team

Cons

Commission structure is horrible, territories mean you'll never get a great account and you'll always scrounge for business, you will get carpal tunnel from the documentation required, every phone call and client visit is monitored. If you look at resumes from Kforce, you'll see people stay for years, or make it 6 months and have to leave b/c they are not making any money. You basically subsidize the company by staying there on minimum wage once your first 6 months are over.

Pros

Very nice building and technology/equipment. Intelligent co-workers with creative ideas. Fair, not above market compensation for starting your career. Many training opportunities for select employees (sales)

Cons

Politics within. Alot of talking about non-business related issues about others Far too many "chiefs". Some working teams have as many leads/managers as they do employees Recent compensation package revisions to obtain more work out of employees for the same payout

Pros

A paycheck until something better comes along. Some training and test taking. If fresh out of college you can meet with recruiters close to your age.

Cons

The consensus I'm finding with others that have tried KForce as job placement service have been nothing but negative comments and considered worthless. Who you talked to on the phone will not be the same person that you meet in person. You may get a recent college grad with low base pay and rest commission. Before even interviewing at a company to find out what the WHOLE position entails they want a wage per hour amount out of you. Which is only part of the total compensation package. The staffing/recruiter person sounded very young and inexperienced. It's your career! Why should you put YOUR career/livelihood in a person like this hands. MOST jobs aren't posted! In other words it's who you know. Especially here in the St. Louis area. Final reminder...Some reasons why companies use recruiters/staffing because the position has a high turnover and/or it's hard to fill from other ways e.g., present company employees have very little referrals and choose not to network outside of work, etc.... Always a good interview question, "Why is this position open?"
