Pros

Very passionate employees, fun culture, casual environment, very young and entertaining, motivated and fast-paced. Potential to make good money.

Cons

Very long hours, lots of cold-calling (can feel like a call center at times), you are always expected to stay late and work from home daily, lots and lots of micromanaging.

Pros

Will meet genuinely good people, ability to gain exposure to large amount of clients and market insights. Ability to learn the business.

Cons

Not addressing the core issues which is tenured employees don't develop new business or manage relationships, instead try outdated sales tactics like "make more calls" with junior staff. Best producers move to management and no longer develop client relationships, instead spend their days in internal meetings and 1 on 1's. Micromanagement of employees, culture of fear and distrust. All of this leads to retention issues and the cycle repeats. Senior employees have left the org in large numbers over last year. Commission plan is also demotivating and overall not competitive, especially with lower salaries.
