Talent Recruiter

Pros

Decent pay if you are just getting out of college If you stay with them and are doing great, easy to move upward mobility

Cons

-No time to leave at a decent hour (you will be looked down upon if you do) -You have a set base pay (which is nice), but at some days you are working 9-10 hours and there is no OT (because of the base) -No matter what, it is a cold calling job but they said it is "recruiting" (so if you do not like sales/cold calling, dont even bother) -If you are not performing at the minimum or at peak performance, they will have no problem of letting you go. (I was not let go, i just heard of people being let go * just like that)

Terrible Management and Turnover

Pros

Fellow recruiters are fun to work with. That is all the comp plan changed and all the good things went away.

Cons

Commission structure changed and there are no clear answers from management. No leadership. No information, just put your head down and don't ask questions type environment. Training is a joke. Hang you out to dry, sink or swim. Worst staffing agency I have worked for.

Pros

You get to work in a lovely city!

Cons

They say "work-life" balance is very important for them, however; they expect you to stay a little over or even work at home, but you cannot work more then 40 hours/wk. Don't believe the "you are the CEO of your desk" line, because commission is not what you'll expect, minuscule amount will come to you. The culture of the office has faded, and is no longer enjoyable; if you are a zombie you will do well. It doesn't matter how hard you work. If numbers are low, even for the whole office, you are not valuable for them and you will feel it.
